The Facility
Stittsworth’s cutting plant.
The retail counter is in Bemidji. The cutting room is here in Turtle River — 15 minutes north on Highway 71. This is where the beef gets broken down, where the brats get stuffed, where the deer get processed during hunting season, and where the smokehouse runs.
Most retail customers will never visit the Turtle River facility. Hunters dropping off game will. So will wholesale accounts coordinating pickups and anybody bringing their own beef or hogs for custom processing.

Custom Processing
Beef, hogs, lambs — brought in by farmers, hunters, and 4-H families. Cut to spec, wrapped, frozen.
Wild Game
Deer, elk, bear, moose. Individual processing, real sausage made in-shop. Drop-off windows during MN firearm and bow seasons.
Smokehouse
Summer sausage, snack sticks, jerky, brats, bacon — all smoked at the Turtle River facility on real wood.
Retail Production
The fresh case at the Bemidji retail shop is cut and packed here daily.

From Blackduck: South on Highway 71. Roughly 20 minutes.
