Walk into Stittsworth Meats on Paul Bunyan Drive and you’ll find a full meat case — fresh-cut steaks, ground beef ground that morning, house-made brats, smoked summer sausage, snack sticks, and the prepped chicken line that gets locals through the week. Behind the counter you’ll find people who’ve been cutting meat in this town for years.
We started in 1940. The family has been doing this through four generations. Most of the recipes — the brats, the summer sausage, the snack sticks — have been refined here, not pulled from a supplier’s catalog.

Find Us
On Paul Bunyan Drive, north of downtown.
From downtown Bemidji: Head north on Paul Bunyan Drive NW. We’re on the west side, about two minutes from the lakefront. Look for the Stittsworth Meats sign.
From Highway 71: Take the Paul Bunyan Drive exit. We’re a quick turn off the highway, well-signed from the main road.
Parking: Customer parking on-site. Easy in, easy out.
