Garlic Herb is the “put it on anything” flavor in the Stitts Chicken® line. Classic Italian-style marinade with garlic, herbs, olive oil, and a little lemon. It’s the one you buy when you want chicken that will go with pasta, salads, rice bowls, or just a simple green vegetable without fighting the rest of the meal.
How To Cook It
Grill, pan sear, roast, or air fryer to 165°F internal.
Typical timing: Grill 6–8 min per side | Oven 375°F: 18–25 minutes depending on thickness
- 01The marinade already has oil, so it doesn’t need much extra fat on the cooking surface.
- 02Grill over medium. These cook fast — don’t walk away.
- 03In a pan: hot cast iron, don’t move it for the first 3–4 minutes so you get good color.
- 04Rest a few minutes after cooking. The garlic and herbs bloom during the rest.
- 05This flavor is excellent cold the next day in salads or grain bowls.
Best for: Meal prep, people who cook for picky eaters and adventurous eaters at the same time, anyone who wants one marinade that works for multiple meals.
What’s In It
Short list. Real ingredients.
Ingredients
- · Whole-muscle boneless skinless chicken breasts
- · Garlic, herbs, olive oil
- · Lemon and black pepper
- · No water or fillers added
Sourcing: Same hand-trimmed, shop-marinated process as all Stitts Chicken®. Real ingredients, not a concentrate.
Clean whole-muscle chicken. The marinade adds flavor without adding a bunch of unnecessary sodium or water weight.
Why Butcher Shop Matters
This is the flavor that shows the biggest gap between butcher-shop chicken and grocery “Italian” chicken. Ours actually tastes like garlic and herbs because we use real amounts of them. The grocery version tastes like vaguely seasoned wet chicken.
FAQ
Quick answers.
Is this flavor strong?
Noticeable garlic and herb, but not aggressive. It’s the most “safe for everyone” flavor in the line while still being interesting.
Can I use this for sheet pan dinners?
It’s one of the best for that. Toss vegetables on the same pan — the marinade plays well with potatoes, broccoli, peppers, etc.
Does the chicken come with the marinade in the bag?
Yes. It’s vacuum sealed in the marinade so it continues to season while it’s in your fridge or freezer.
